Making the most of your JustGiving page
If you need help with setting up your JustGiving page check out our easy guide on how you can do this; it only takes five minutes to set up and is a great and easy way to ask everyone you know to sponsor you.
It helps if you include as much of a personal touch as you can, so try to add photos to your page, as well as the reasons why you’re doing such a great thing and raising money for Princess Alice Hospice.
Social media
Social networks like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and even LinkedIn are perfect opportunities to let everyone know that you are raising money for Princess Alice Hospice. Keep your friends and followers updated with what you are doing and why.
Share your JustGiving fundraising page on Facebook and all your social media channels to keep your friends updated on your fundraising goal and how far you’ve come.
Why not live stream or share pictures of your training? Get your friends and followers excited enough that they might not just support you, they might decide to join you.

Raising sponsorship money - top tips:
Once you’ve set up your JustGiving page, ask your most generous friends to sponsor you first.
Let everyone at work or school know that you’re taking part and encourage them to sponsor you or even to take part themselves.
Email everybody in your address book – and don’t forget to include the link to your JustGiving page.
Don’t be embarrassed to ask people you haven’t seen for a while – it’s a good excuse to get back in touch with those you’ve lost contact with.
Send gentle reminders – either by text, email or post – to all your potential donors, especially around payday.
After you have completed the event, update your JustGiving page with a picture of yourself taking part. Email everyone with the link to your revised page and they might even sponsor you a little bit extra.
Ensure that you thank all your sponsors for donating money to your fundraising target and helping to support you and Princess Alice Hospice.
