Running our Hospice and services costs £13 million a year. Your entry fee only covers the taking part - it is your donations and sponsorship that make a difference.
-
No, the entry fee only covers our set-up costs. We are only able to continue offering our free care due to sponsorship money and donations received from events like the Santa Fun Run. If you prefer this method of supporting us, you can donate at the point of registration instead of asking for sponsorship.
-
Yes, you can. To pay online, follow these steps:
1. the single donation button
2. enter in the amount of the donation
3. then select ‘A collection or paying in fundraising for an event I’ve done – other people’s money’
4. be sure to reference Santa Fun Run in ‘What was your collection / fundraising event?’
-
Yes, a form can be downloaded. Please collect the money from your sponsors as soon as possible and drop into the Hospice using the money return form.
-
Registration fees are non-refundable. However, if an event has to be postponed or cancelled, we would offer those who have registered either a suitable alternative date (subject to availability), a transfer to a suitable alternative Princess Alice Hospice fundraising event (subject to availability), or a refund if this is requested.
-
JustGiving is the fundraising platform that we have chosen to partner with and, although they charge a small fee, we benefit greatly from their efficient and user-friendly service, making it a really effective way for us to receive funds.
Your sponsors will also be given the option of covering the cost of the fee if they want to ensure their whole donation comes to Princess Alice Hospice.
-
Further information on how to manage your JustGiving page is available here.

Raised so far (in fundraising and donations)
What we have raised so far doesn’t include ticket sales (this cost only covers our set up costs) which is why your donation or fundraising is so important to us. This is a collective effort of all our Santa Fun Runners and every little bit all adds up to help reach our target!
Thanks for your support.
We care for people across 600 square miles in Surrey and South West London, supporting families before, during, and after death.
At any one time, we care for around 1,000 patients but did you know only a small proportion of our care is delivered at the Hospice in Esher.
Most of our care is delivered in people's homes, allowing them to be at home surrounded by their loved ones.
